We collect the following personal data when you make a booking: your name, email address, phone number (WhatsApp), preferred language, and your current location (address or GPS coordinates) for guide matching. For guides, we additionally collect identity verification documents, profile photos, spoken languages, and bank account details for payouts. We also collect technical data such as browser type, device information, IP address, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to: (a) process and fulfill your tour bookings; (b) match you with available guides near your location; (c) process payments and refunds through Stripe; (d) send booking confirmations, receipts, and tour-related notifications via email and push notifications; (e) enable real-time communication between tourists and guides during tours; (f) improve our platform through analytics and usage patterns; (g) prevent fraud and ensure platform security; (h) comply with legal obligations.

4. Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit card numbers. Stripe handles all sensitive payment data in accordance with their privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). We only receive confirmation of successful payments, partial card details (last 4 digits), and transaction identifiers necessary for order management and refund processing.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data with: (a) Stripe for payment processing; (b) your assigned guide (name, phone number, location, and tour preferences — only after a booking is confirmed); (c) Resend for transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, receipts); (d) Supabase for secure data storage; (e) Sentry for error monitoring (anonymized technical data only); (f) Vercel for hosting. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage to: maintain your session and language preferences, store your booking token for order tracking, and ensure the platform functions correctly. We use Sentry for error tracking, which may collect anonymized session data when errors occur. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can clear cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.

7. Data Retention

We retain your booking data for the duration necessary to fulfill the service and for a period of 3 years afterward for legal, accounting, and dispute resolution purposes. Guide data is retained for the duration of their active engagement with the platform plus 3 years. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@chillandgotours.com. Note that certain data may be retained as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) object to or restrict the processing of your data; (e) request data portability; (f) withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Our Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at info@chillandgotours.com and we will promptly delete it.

Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Chill N' Go account and associated personal data at any time by emailing info@chillandgotours.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address associated with your account.

What we delete: profile data, login credentials, booking preferences, saved tours, location history, and device identifiers.

What we retain: transaction records (3 years, required for tax and legal compliance) and anonymized usage analytics.

Response time: we process deletion requests within 30 days and send confirmation upon completion.
